Dr. Yoon holds dual specialty training in both orthodontics and prosthodontics, which is uncommon, and has placed more than 5,000 implants over 30+ years.

It depends on far more than the number of implants: bone volume, whether grafting or a sinus lift is needed, how many teeth are being replaced, whether the restoration is a single crown or a full arch, and which materials are used. A single implant and a full-arch All-on-4 case are different treatments at different scales. We give you a written estimate after an examination and CBCT 3D imaging, and we will discuss financing through CareCredit, Cherry, LendingClub or HFD before you decide.

Conventional dentures, implant-retained snap-on dentures and fixed full-arch implant bridges sit at very different price points, and the right one depends on how much bone you have and how much stability you want. We will show you the realistic options for your mouth at the consultation and price each one in writing so you can compare them properly.

Dentures are removable, cost less up front and can be made quickly, but they rest on the gums, and the jawbone underneath continues to shrink over time, which is why dentures need relining and eventually stop fitting. Implants are placed in the bone, which preserves it, and they bite like natural teeth. Between the two sits the option most of our patients end up choosing: a snap-on denture retained by a small number of implants, which restores most of the stability at a fraction of the cost of a fixed full-arch case.

Many plans now offer partial coverage, usually treating the implant restoration like a crown or bridge and applying the annual maximum. Coverage is rarely complete, and full-arch treatment normally exceeds a single year’s benefit. Where it helps, we can stage treatment across two benefit years to use two annual maximums. We check your specific plan and tell you what it will pay before treatment is scheduled.

Yes. We provide oral appliance therapy using Prosomnus devices — custom-fitted appliances that treat obstructive sleep apnea and snoring by holding the airway open during sleep. They suit patients with mild to moderate sleep apnea and those who cannot tolerate CPAP.

No. We do not perform wisdom tooth extractions and refer those cases to an oral surgeon. Dr. Yoon is a prosthodontist, not an oral and maxillofacial surgeon. We do perform other extractions where they form part of a restorative or implant treatment plan.

We treat under local anaesthetic with nitrous oxide (laughing gas) for patients who want help relaxing. We do not offer IV sedation or general anaesthesia. If your case genuinely requires it, we will tell you at the consultation and refer appropriately.

We use iTero digital scanning instead of impression trays, CBCT 3D imaging for implant planning, in-office panoramic radiography, and Digital Smile Design so you can preview cosmetic results before treatment begins.
